A discussion will be held on Thursday, November 15TH at noon (in room 2227 E-Hall) about ‘Women Role Models in STEM Careers’. A portion of the discussion will be about women who were pioneers in geology and engineering at UW-Madison. Below is an article about two specific women, Katherine Fowler and Emily Hahn. Also, Professor Jean Bahr of Geosciences and GLE will also be joining the discussion; providing insights about how she achieved her tenure position and any role models she had along the way.
