Representatives from Apache will be visiting UW-Geological Engineering for internship interviews Monday September 22nd with second day interviews Tuesday September 23rd.

Apache is looking for qualified students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Geologic Engineering.

The summer 2015 Geological Engineering internship is an opportunity to gain experience and exposure throughout the summer that can lead into an opportunity for a full-time professional operational role.  The candidate will learn and apply his/her technical skills and knowledge of the oil and gas industry to assist the geoscience staff in executing the region’s drilling program while gaining a working knowledge of oil and gas drilling operations, openhole logging technology, mudlogging operations, and geoscience mapping software.  The candidate will have the opportunity to coordinate with drilling superintendents and consultants, engineers, and geoscientists to plan, coordinate, and implement the geologic data collection and analysis of drilling wells.
